Babyproofing 101

Time to move the wine rack, C.D. rack and every other rack you can find. Xander is becoming quite the pro at pulling himself to standing.

This is definitely too close to watch t.v.

Nobody will let me have any fun around here. Maybe they'll let me pole dance. Hey Mom, I hear those pole dancing classes are a great way to stay in shape.

Feeling Better

Xander had a pretty miserable week last week. He had a cold and was throwing up all weekend. Even not feeling well, he was pretty busy and is getting quite good at pulling himself up to standing. He is feeling much better, however he lost a pound from the last time I had him weighed. He was 77 cm tall at his 9 month appt (grew 4 cm since 6 months), and weighed 21 pounds (he was almost 19 at 6 months). He was in the 97th percentile for height still, but his weight had slipped to about the 50th. Hopefully, he at least gains back the pound he lost last week very quickly.

We had a pj day on Saturday, and as you can see even not feeling well he was still in good spirits.

I love standing!!!

9 Months Old

I cannot believe that our little boy is 9 months old today!!! And what a little boy he is becoming.

I am starting to go into total panic mode about having to go back to work and leave him. We have his 9 month appt. tomorrow, so I'll try and post with a stat-update. I'm trying to fatten him up for his big weigh-in tomorrow, but quite unsuccessfully as he has a cold and is not too interested in eating anything.
